Dr. Yanjun Li, professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU. He obtained Ph.D degree in 1997. Before he became a full professor at NTNU in 2013, he had ever worked as postdoc at NTNU, research metallurgist at Hydro Aluminium, and senior scientist at SINTEF. His research work has been mainly focused on the physical metallurgy of light metals, including advanced microstructure characterisation; solidification and casting; solid-state phase transformation; severe plastic deformation; grain boundary engineering; atomistic scale simulation and microstructure simulation.
